LSE LIFE is the School’s academic, personal and professional development centre for undergraduate and taught master’s students. Housed on the ground floor of the LSE Library, LSE LIFE acts as a one-stop shop for developmental opportunities offered by different LSE services, and provides one-to-one, workshops and large-group learning events and courses, both on campus and virtually via different online platforms.
LSE LIFE is looking to recruit a learning developer who will focus primarily on the academic stream of its activities – supporting students in the development of academic and study-related skills.
Among other things, candidates should have the following experience and knowledge: designing and delivering asynchronous and synchronous student support within higher education; using tools and platforms for creating asynchronous learning materials, and in virtual learning environments; building productive working relationships with other team members and diverse stakeholders across an institution; ability to manage a demanding workload with frequently changing priorities; willingness and desire to contribute actively to the team and the success of LSE LIFE.
We offer an occupational pension scheme, generous annual leave and excellent training and development opportunities.
