Are you passionate about supporting students to make the most of their time at university? Is inclusive education at the heart of everything you do? Do you get a buzz from working with international students? Then, we invite you to join our growing international community. In the last couple of years, the Faculty of Business and Law has successfully expanded its international student recruitment. Due to this expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for someone to co-create and deliver the support activities required for our international student cohort across the faculty.

We are looking for an International Student Engagement Coach to join our Faculty of Business and Law. In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for providing direct support to students to improve engagement and ensure retention and completion.

Working with our Faculty International Student Retention Tutor, you will develop and deliver a programme of engagement targeted interventions and activities. This role will involve tracking student engagement and performance data and liaising with relevant academic guidance, producing study plans, arranging group and individual activities and monitoring progress.

You will be passionate about supporting students, highly organized and with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will have the ability to build relationships with key student support services departments in the University. Experience of working in HE and familiarity with student reporting systems is desirable.

At Roehampton, we change lives by helping our students to develop the confidence, knowledge and adaptability they need for a successful graduate career and fulfilling life.

We are a supportive, close-knit and inclusive community, with a proud history in higher education stretching back more than 175 years. Our values come from this rich history, built on community, engagement and partnership, with a belief that no matter their background, we can help our students to realise their ambitions. Our graduates today have excellent employment prospects and are part of a thriving and diverse global community of Roehampton alumni.

We provide an engaging portfolio of courses across the creative arts, social sciences, law, humanities, literature, education, business, and human and life sciences, including nursing. We also have an excellent research profile. With international reach, our research informs policy, enriches culture and improves people’s lives.

We are based on a beautiful 64-acre parkland campus, located in the heart of south-west London. Our staff have access to excellent facilities and a generous range of staff benefits.

The safety of staff, students and the wider community is our priority and work will continue across the University to ensure comply with prevailing guidance in relation to Covid-19.
