
About the Role
To be a member of the Institute Professional Staff Senior Management Team and manage the Assessment Unit that delivers assessments for all programmes in IHSE including MBBS and Graduate Entry programmes in London and Malta, BDS (Dentistry), MSc Physician Associate, MSc Pre Hospital Medicine and IHSE Intercalated Degrees and Academic Prize Competitions.
About You
The successful candidate will bring experience of team management and staff development, and high quality delivery of complex administrative services and events within a fast-paced HEI setting. Proven efficient and effective organisational and operational skills are required as well the ability to remain calm under pressure. This role requires strategic engagement and skilled written and verbal communication com with stakeholders at all levels.

One of six Institutes forming the faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, the Institute for Health Sciences Education (IHSE) is responsible for the delivery of the School’s medical degree programmes. Together with partner hospitals and primary care practices, we provide an innovative, forward-thinking and responsive curriculum to our passionate, diverse student body.

The post is based at the Whitechapel Campus in London with hybrid working. It is full time permanent appointment with an expected start date in the next academic year. The starting salary will be Grade 6, in the range of £48,035 – £53,625.
