Job Details
As Income Generation Project Manager, you will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of activities related to phase one of our income generation strategy. You will work closely with the phase one income sponsor, income workstream leads and stakeholders to ensure the ICR meets the income targets set by the Evolve Programme, and ensuring identified enablers are in place to accelerate future growth.
Key Requirements
The successful candidate must have strong project management experience and an awareness of process management techniques. Ideally, you will have a background of working in an income generation environment and a good understanding and experience working in a research or research funding environment.
Evolve Programme
The ICR has exciting ambitions to transform the lives of cancer patients through our new strategy, Defeating Cancer. To deliver the greatest possible benefit for cancer patients, it’s essential that we can grow our income and increase funding for our research. We are also facing strong financial headwinds, and income growth is a central element of our plans under the ICR’s Evolve programme to secure the ICR’s financial sustainability.
Three workstreams of income generation activity have been established – with a strong emphasis on fundraising, but also significant activity in commercial partnership, public and academic funding. We aim to focus our income generation on priority centres and other areas of research activity – starting with the Centre for Cancer Drug Discovery, and with five other priority areas identified. We will develop close partnerships between the centres’ academic leadership, professional services directorates and senior volunteers – underpinned by leadership from the Chief Executive.
We encourage all applicants to access the job pack attached for more detailed information regarding this role. For an informal discussion regarding the role, please contact Caroline Raihan via email – [email protected].
