The Lyons Group incorporates thirteen stunning holiday parks throughout North Wales and Cumbria as well as two restaurants and luxury hotels and Lyons Caravan Sales, our holiday home sales showground near Gwespyr, North Wales.

We are looking for a positive, enthusiastic person to provide an excellent level of support based at our Nant Hall Hotel and Restaurant . All team members are trained and encouraged to exceed the needs and expectations of our guests.

Role Responsibility
As the Head Housekeeper you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the Housekeeping team ensuring the quality of cleaning is the best it can be
  • Competing a Rota to ensure that all days are covered
  • Planning of a rolling rota ensuring that each surface is cleaned over a time period
  • Liaising with the laundry supplier regarding standards and deliveries
  • Regular stock takes of consumables and ensuring that the stock levels are always where required
  • Supporting with the set up of a function and ensuring that the function room is always presented to the highest standard
  • Attending to Hotel Rooms on a daily basis during a customers stay and upon them checking out
  • Keeping rooms and public spaces clean and sanitary for guests
  • Clean and maintain common areas of the hotel
  • Work safely by following Company policies and procedures.
  • Perform laundry duties as necessary
  • Report hazards as they arise.
  • Supporting with cleaning duties throughout the bar, restaurant and hotel areas
  • Stock and maintain housekeeping supply rooms
  • Ensure a high level of customer service is performed at all times
  • Assist guests with requests and questions as necessary
  • Report any damages or repairs needed to management
  • Report all lost and found items to the Hotel General Manager

The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate for this role will have:

  • The ability to communicate effectively with guests, co-workers and managers
  • Experience in a Housekeeping Management role at a Hospitality setting
  • Ability to manage a team and drive them to perform to the highest level
  • Flexible with working days (including weekends)
  • Self motivated
  • Well presented
  • Good interpersonal skills

Salary: up to £10.50 depending on experience

COVID-19 considerations:
All necessary PPE is provided along with full training.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £10.00-£10.50 per hour

  • Prestatyn, LL19 9LD: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

  • housekeeping: 1 year (preferred)
