This post is full time, 35 hours per week and is fixed term for 12 months.

This is a fixed-term maternity cover contract. The postholder will provide continuity to an existing sustainability team. The role will focus on the implementation, monitoring and reporting of University Sustainability activities and Policies, aligning organisational activities with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This includes managing the resourcing of all relevant activities and working with senior management and key stakeholder groups to continue delivery of supporting programmes and action and operational plans.

You will be an excellent communicator, capable of working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders to promote the sustainability agenda. You will be highly motivated and forward thinking with experience of embedding sustainability within an organisation at a strategic level and have proven success in engaging others and affecting behaviour change in line with sustainability best practices.
