As UAL responds to a changing world, we have recently launched an ambitious new 10-year strategy. The University Central Planning Unit will play an important role in defining how we reach our strategy goals and monitoring our progress on this journey.
As a result, we are investing in our planning team and expanding our capacity to help us shape the provision UAL offers, whilst ensuring we are informing and monitoring outcomes. This provision of advice, insights and analysis will allow senior decision-makers to plan for growth and ensure we are offering a first-class experience to all our students.
The Head of Planning (Academic and Student Number Planning) will lead on a portfolio of work related to academic strategy, course portfolio development and student number planning – working closely with the Director of Planning and key senior stakeholders to manage and develop governance, processes and outputs which contribute to the delivery of our strategy objectives for the size and shape of the University.
The post holder will act as line manager to a Planning Analyst and have access to wider staff resources of the Planning Unit as required/appropriate.
