We are looking for someone who can show proficiency in the format of graphics, layouts, design templates, animations, and a varied variety of digital properties to support our global audiences. This position needs a high level of cross-functional partnership, teamwork, and excellent interaction. In addition to having strong typographic and visualisation skills, the role holder will require to apply job management skills to handle medium to large scale material advancement projects. The role holder should be an imaginative problem solver, strong group gamer and be willing to operate in a busy environment. Suitable candidates will have broad experience in multimedia development across several techniques and formats, along with a desire and determination to find new applications. The role is suitable for remote working, provided the appointee has the ability to go to the campus for face-to-face work when needed.

Responsibilities and Responsibilities

  • Working carefully with learning experience designers, video manufacturers and faculty, accountable for conceptualizing, developing, and developing appealing academic material including:
    • Digital Graphics
    • Interactives
    • Videos
    • Motion Graphics
    • Animation
    • Simulations
    • Screencast Tutorials
    • Podcasts
  • Accountable for making sure construct is scalable– anticipating the re-use of effects, animations, and designs
  • Creation of visuals and interactive graphics that translate training ideas
  • Generate, storyboard, and present clear concepts that fulfill task goals and adhere to brand and product standards, promoting Northeastern University’s values of inclusive excellence
  • Guarantee application of user-centred style concepts, inclusive-design, and compliance with pertinent disability/accessibility regulations consisting of Americans with Disabilities Act Standards for Accessible Design (ADA)
  • Active in the management of medium to large scale material development projects
  • Stakeholder management– establishing and keeping great working relationships with internal and external contacts, guaranteeing their engagement and adherence to necessary reaction times
  • Make sure feedback from staff member and clients are evaluated and evaluated and work to discover the best ways to attend to issues and supply improvements and new services

Individual Specification Criteria (Essential/ Desirable)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Graphic Design, Digital Media/Visual Communications or a related field [E]

Secret Criteria

  • Significant experience of professional design creating effective multimedia outputs, from principle to production [E]
  • Advanced-level understanding of and experience in Adobe Creative Suite with a focus on Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects [E]
  • Experience with Premiere Pro, Articulate 360 or other such applications [D]
  • Experience designing for ADA compliance [D]
  • Favorable and professional mindset, with an authentic interest in discovering new skills [E]
  • Adaptable and happy to handle new projects and tasks at brief notification [E]
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities, showing and ability to work flexibly across several jobs with stringent and conflicting due dates, while preserving high-quality requirement of work [E]
  • Ability to preserve focus on top priorities while multi-tasking and thrive in a nimble environment [E]
  • Positive with strong decision-making skills [E]
  • Exceptional attention to detail and capability to attain high level of precision [E]
