Salary from £40,229 to £48,456 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £52,095 pa
LSE is the world’s leading social science institution, which attracts students from all over the world. The Graduate Admissions Team manages the administration of over 45,000 programme applications every year for 200 postgraduate programmes at the university.
Graduate Admissions are seeking an experienced HE administrator to manage the day-to-day work of the team. The principal responsibility of the Graduate Admissions team is to provide a consistently effective and efficient service both to applicants to LSE and to colleagues working in the admissions area.
We are a fast-paced friendly team. You will be someone with excellent people management and excellent problem-solving skills who is ready to get involved and work alongside the team in delivering an excellent service.
The post holder will have the following key responsibilities:
- work alongside the Head of Admissions and the Graduate Admissions Management Team to ensure the smooth running of the Graduate Admissions process and to contribute to the continuous improvements of procedures and systems;
- manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the GAO;
- directly line manage a team of grade 4 and 5 GAO staff and supervise a wider group of staff.
Candidates should have:
- significant administrative experience including in Higher Education admissions;
- excellent oral and written communication skills;
- excellent IT skills and technical knowledge of SITS or similar student database package;
- Experience of using Salesforce or similar CRM system is desirable
