
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and dedicated Administrator to join the RVC’s Governance team. Founded in 1791 The RVC is one of the largest and longest established veterinary schools in the world. Ranked as the top veterinary school in the QS World University Rankings 2022. The RVC offers outstanding undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in veterinary medicine, veterinary nursing, and biomedical sciences and carries out world class veterinary and bioscience research ranging from the molecular level through whole animal to population based studies.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working with the College Secretary (Governance, Planning & Compliance) to ensure efficient and effective support for the Council (the governing body) of the RVC and its sub-committees.
The post holder will be a key member of the Governance team. They will be a highly motivated and adaptable team player, capable of working independently and keen to develop themselves in this role. They will need to be confident and competent at liaising with all levels of staff within the RVC, independent members of Council and with external stakeholders.
Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential. To fulfil this role, you should a keen eye for detail and the ability to organise meetings and events and to write timely, clear and concise minutes, communications and reports.

The post will be a part time role of 0.6FTE/ 21 hours per week. £30,682 – £35,802 incl. London weighting (pro rata)
The post maybe primarily located at either our Camden Campus or at our Hawkshead Campus with the potential for home working and/ or for hotdesking between campuses.
