Events Coordinator
Salary from £31,960 to £36,705 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £39,432 pa inclusive of London allowance
The Events Coordinator ensures the effective management and delivery of a wide range of public, student, staff and alumni events, within the Department of International Relations.
The key responsibilities of the role are to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of the Department’s events programme (comprising, but not limited to, public lectures, workshops, seminars, conferences and IRD community events), and to play a key role in the development of our events strategy and programme – including researching and proposing ideas for public events.
The successful postholder should have substantial experience in organising and managing events of varying sizes/types, excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to plan and prioritise a varied workload, and the ability to anticipate problems and propose solutions. An interest in International Relations and excellent IT skills are also required.
