Events & Business Support Officer

Spread the love

Central London (with a mixture of office and home working)

“Join our busy team to assist with the delivery of events, both online and in-person, and a range of other business support duties. Central London location with hybrid working offered.”

UCEA’s Events and Business Support Officer works collaboratively with colleagues from different teams. You will support our member-facing events and networks, together with our business support activities and governance arrangements and meetings. No two days are the same, so you will be highly organised with a strong attention to detail. The ability to switch between tasks at short notice and re-prioritise accordingly is crucial. You will be tech-savvy and confident in operating online meetings and events platforms, in updating websites and CRM systems, as well as the Microsoft 365 suite. You will need a ‘can do’ attitude, a flexible and resourceful approach, and have the ability to learn, assimilate and process information quickly whilst working within different teams. Some flexibility may be required at the start or end of the normal working day if UCEA is holding an event or needs to distribute urgent communications to members; this flexibility will be returned.

Some of the core responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Events Team in the planning, organisation and delivery of high quality online and in-person events and network meetings
  • Supporting the Business Support Team in all aspects of its work including Board and committee meetings and assisting other teams with internal admin tasks
  • Maintaining data and information, including our website, booking system and CRM system.
