Events and Student Communications Officer
Salary from £33,558 to £38,541 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £41,404 pa inclusive of London allowance
This is a fixed term appointment for three years
The LSE Law School is a world-renowned law faculty and vibrant intellectual community of staff and students. Our events programme is one of the largest of any law school in the world with over 150 events per year, ranging from high profile public speakers, research seminars, conferences to student socials.
This role is works with both the Events and Programmes Teams, with a focus on planning, promoting and delivering the Law School’s extensive student events programme. The post holder will also take a lead on the Law School’s student communications, as well as assisting the Events Team with wider Law School events throughout the year, as required.
The role involves evening work of two to three nights per week during term time, with time taken back in lieu and more flexibility given over the vacation periods. During term time it is a predominantly campus-based role (at least three days per week, however flexibility will be required).
Candidates should have:
- Experience of organising events, both in person and online
- Experience of promoting events or activities across digital, social and print media
- A proactive approach to the continued improvement of event services in the Law School
