About the Roles
The ESM is directly responsible for management and provision of effective and efficient administrative support for all teaching and learning activities within their assigned School throughout the student cycle for taught programmes.
Working closely with the Directors of Education in their School, the ESM will contribute towards the design, development, quality assurance and delivery of taught programme curriculum and will formulate policies and procedures which best support the School’s Education Strategy.
About You
You will have significant experience of teaching administration at managerial level with a thorough understanding of the associated procedures and protocols. You will have experience of managing and leading an education team with broad knowledge of the roles involved. You will be educated to degree level and will have excellent organisational and communication skills.
About the Schools
The Schools of Biological and Behavioral Sciences and Physical and Chemical Sciences were both formed last year through a realignment of existing academic areas. Both Schools sit within the Faculty of Science and Engineering, along with three other Schools.
Both Schools are friendly, collaborative and busy on both research and education sides. The School of Behavioral Sciences has approximately 1800 undergraduate students. Both Schools have professionally accredited degree programmes in an the School of Physics and Chemical Sciences the School’s Chemistry and Pharmaceutical and Physics degree programmes are accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry and the Institute of Physics; both programmes require students to receive 300 hours of scheduled practical classes over the course of their degrees.

The posts are based at the Mile End Campus- role holders will have a minimum of 3 days per week on campus. They are full time, permanent appointments. Starting salary in the range of £48,035 – £50,747 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
