
This post is full time, 35 hours per week and is fixed term for 1 year.
With over 20000 students, the University of Westminster has a diverse student body and is committed to promoting effective and efficient support. The University of Westminster currently has around 2700 students across its four sites who have declared a disability.
Operating as part of Student and Academic Services, the Disability Learning Support team plays three main roles, assessing and implementing reasonable adjustments for disabled students, providing additional services to these students and advising the University on delivering inclusive teaching practices and service delivery across the institution.
This opportunity is for an experienced administrator to join our team from August 2022 to 31st August 2023.
Working with two other Administrators within DLS, it provides an opportunity to gain an understanding of DLS Advice work. It is a varied and challenging role. Carrying out a range of tasks, which include:
- Responding to queries,
- Managing appointments,
- Financial administration,
- Maintaining and developing record-keeping systems
- Participating in activities to enhance the Disability Service and its administrative processes.
