
About the Role
The School of Engineering and Materials Science at Queen Mary University of London has a vacancy for a Digital Learning Adviser. The purpose of this role is to ensure that our staff and students receive excellent support in their use of digital technologies for learning, teaching and assessment. This post is responsible for driving and supporting digital learning innovation and development and the continued maintenance of core learning and support systems essential to the successful delivery and continuous improvement in the quality of our programmes.

Queen Mary’s 4,000 staff teach and research across a wide range of subjects in Science and Engineering, the Humanities, Social Sciences and Laws, and Medicine and Dentistry.
This post is within the School of Engineering and Materials Science, a large School with approximately 70 academic staff and 45 postdoctoral research staff. There are around 1900 undergraduate and taught postgraduate students and 220 PhD students. Circa 40 administrative and technical staff support the staff and students. The staff and student body are international in make-up. The School holds a departmental-level Bronze Athena SWAN award and is committed to equality of opportunity.

The post is a full-time, permanent appointment. The salary for this post is grade 5 (£38,655 – £45,479) per annum (dependant on experience), inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
