
We are looking for two Deputy Accounts Receivable Managers to join our busy finance department and support the Finance department in providing an excellent service for our students. The Deputy Accounts Receivable Manager (Income and Credit) will have direct responsibility for invoicing and debt collections for the University and those of its subsidiaries, ensuring all student fee payments, invoices, credit notes, refunds and other transactions are accurately reflected on student accounts and reconciled in an efficient and timely manner.
The Deputy Accounts Receivable Manager (Student Finance) will have direct responsibility for the day-to-day management, reporting and reconciliation of the Student Loans Company (SLC) accounts, including all aspects of communications with students to support successful completion of loan funding applications. The Deputy AR Manager will manage a team that will act as the first point of contact for students, colleagues and strategic partners in relation to all fee and funding enquiries. The Deputy AR Manager will also be responsible for the management of the administration of the US Department of Education Student Loans (US Loans), private loans and UA Funds for eligible students in liaison with American government agencies and maintain records for annual audit.
We are looking for innovative individuals educated to degree level or equivalent with experience of working in similar roles and ideally in the Higher Education sector. We are a fast moving finance team and welcome new ideas and innovation to help provide an excellent service for our students.
