Spread the love

Full-time position with hybrid working, including a minimum of 2 days in our London office (flexible working requests are welcome)

The Health Foundation is an independent charity committed to bringing about better health and health care for people in the UK.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to join the Policy team, which focuses on national policy on health and social care. Our aim is to support more evidence-informed policies on health and social care in the UK, contributing to better population health. We do this by analysing, understanding, and informing national policies on health care, social care and public health, with a focus on the overall direction of the health system and how it is performing.

The Data Analyst plays a vital role in all aspects of the policy team’s work, from fast-moving reactive work to longer-term analysis and research. You will provide quantitative analysis of health and social care data sets including quick-turnaround descriptive analyses of NHS performance and other data, for predominantly media audiences. You will also contribute to policy team briefings and longer reports using a mix of quantitative methods and get to collaborate with other data analysts across the Health Foundation.

You will have strong quantitative research skills, experience of working with large datasets and an in depth understanding of statistical software packages, including R, STATA and Excel. You will have a track record in writing up quantitative analyses for a range of audiences and enjoy presenting and communicating your work. You will have a keen interest in NHS, public health and social care policy, and experience of working in the field of health care, public health or social care.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Data Analyst with a passion for improving health outcomes and a commitment to our core behaviours – Working Together, Discovering and Learning and Achieving Impact.
