We are currently looking for an experienced CPRD Research Application Tester to join our Safety & Surveillance group. Within a week of working here, your day could look like this: Identifying and Developing Test Requirements; Creating and Execute Test Libraries; And defining, Managing Test Assets and Producing Reports on Results.
The successful candidate will analyse and use a range of relevant, credible information from internal and external sources to support decisions and ensuring that communication has a clear purpose and takes into account people’s individual needs. You will have experience of testing and validating stored procedures, jobs, and triggers in backend databases such as Microsoft SQL Server.
In addition, you will have previous experience in a quality assurance tester role and in-depth knowledge of using an object-orientated or scripting programming language, such as but not limited to .NET, Java, or Python, to develop re-usable test libraries as well as experience of using open source tools such as Selenium for front-end automation and Rest Assured for API testing, and using a build automation tool, such as Maven or Gradle and you will have critical thinking and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems logically and independently using techniques to identify the root cause of the problem.
