
Central are seeking a qualified Counsellor with experience supporting and managing issues relating to student mental health and wellbeing
Central is an international leader for professional drama, theatre and performance-related courses and you will have the opportunity to work with students (and staff) at our campus located at Swiss Cottage, a quiet, leafy corner of the city – but is only 3 tube stops from Central London.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Student Centre team to lead the Counselling Service.
You will be responsible for the management and delivery of a high-quality short-term counselling service for students, including the provision of one-on-one counselling, setting standards to ensure the appropriate administrative, reporting and ethical systems are in place for this critical service.
In order to be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record of clinical experience, managing issues relating to student mental health and wellbeing and of line managing counsellors.
