If so, we have an interesting chance for you to act as the interface in between the College and external organisations to increase the engagement of academics as consultants to external organisations.
Our Enterprise Division is looking for a Consultant Engagement Manager (Engineering) to provide specialist commercial competence to develop, scope and rate consultancy chances.
Main responsibilities and responsibilities
You will be responsible for growing the amount of consultancy carried out by the academic neighborhood making sure that all effective opportunities are commercially practical, offer scholastic benefit and aligned with governance and legal structures.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and engaging brand-new experts
- Establishing new chances with experts
- Proactively preparing business propositions and tenders
Important requirements
You will have previous experience of company advancement and/or relationship management and will possess proven skills to add worth to the team. You will use your management, influencing and relationship structure skills to maintain a complete portfolio of consultant engagement chances within your assigned areas, coordinating the relationship between the business and the consultant neighborhood.
The function will consist of working with crucial scholastic staff in addition to agents from client/customer organisations, so strong interpersonal and interaction skills are critical. The role also needs you to be flexible in your work and to be able to complete a range of jobs concurrently.
This career opportunity will draw on your experience gained in a position such as Relationships Manager, Business Development Manager, Engagement Manager, Corporate Partnerships Manager, Client Manager, Client Liaison, Consultant, or similar.
