LSE Faith Centre runs programmes and events promoting spiritual literacy and transformational interfaith management, supporting trainees to check out, challenge and concern spiritual distinction. The Centre homes a wide range of spiritual and wellbeing activities on school, plays an essential function in promoting excellent school relations and community-building, and supports the promo of religious beliefs and belief as a safeguarded diversity particular across the School. The Religion and Global Society (RGS) research unit is an interdisciplinary unit that checks out religious beliefs and its importance in world affairs.
We are seeking to select a Communications Officer to work closely with our RGS researchers in the promos and dissemination of their research. The Communications Officer will run the Faith Centre and RGS social networks channels and will deal with the Centre Manager on a communications method for promoting our trainee extracurricular offerings.
Candidates should have experience of managing social networks channels and planning interactions strategies. They must have exceptional composed and oral interaction skills, consisting of a capability to communicate research study findings. Experience of handling an academic blog site is extremely preferable as well as experience of preparing conferences and public lectures. A working understanding of the main world religions and experience in interfaith dialogue activities is extremely preferable.
