The role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Communications Manager to join the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery and Palliative Care (NMPC), King’s College London, to advise on and provide high-quality and strategic communications as an integral member of the Faculty’s management team.
You will have extensive professional knowledge and expertise to ensure effective cascade and dissemination of university-wide messaging on areas of strategic importance; to support the delivery of the Faculty’s communications plans and strategies and to promote the work of the Faculty to a range of internal and external stakeholders in line with King’s Vision 2029 and the university’s internal and external engagement strategy and business objectives.
We are looking for someone with wide-ranging experience in developing and delivering coordinated and integrated communications strategies across a variety of areas and to diverse audience groups.
You will be working proactively and autonomously across all areas of the Faculty to find opportunities where communications and engagement activities can add value and support the key objectives of the Faculty, its people and wider university.
You will advise and support the Executive Dean and Faculty Executive in its key communications objectives and overseeing the delivery of effective internal (all student and all staff messaging) and external communications and PR.

This post will be offered on an indefinite contract.
This is a full-time post – 100% full time equivalent.
