We are seeking an experienced administrator with committee support skills to join the Governance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic motivated Committee Administrator to work alongside colleagues in the Governance team to support the efficient operation of the College Governing Body and Committees. You will also work closely with academic and administrative staff in the Schools and central Professional Services.

You will have experience in higher education administration and are perhaps looking to expand your skills in this sector. To be successful you will have a proven track record of working in an administrative role with competing priorities in a busy and fast-paced environment.

You will be dealing with and resolving a broad spectrum of queries and will have the opportunity to develop experience of working in governance within higher education.

You will be articulate and have excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work well with colleagues at a range of different levels across the College in order to provide support and guidance on the committee process and procedures.

You will provide administrative and committee support for a wide range of College committees and working groups  including the Academic Board and its Executive Committee and will be responsible for organising the meetings preparing the documents and attending the meetings to take notes – the complete process from start to finish.

To thrive in this role you will need demonstrable experience of organising prioritising and managing your time effectively to meet the necessary deadlines.

You will be confident in providing high quality administration service and will possess strong communication and writing skills as well as excellent organisational and IT skills particularly in the use of Microsoft Office systems and software.

Remuneration:

Grade 4 of the College’s London Pay Scale which is £26,712 rising to £30,190 per annum.

The salary quoted is on the College’s London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated Weighting/Allowance which applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the London area.
