Candidates should be aware that the student-facing programme management (including timetabling, delivery, assessment, quality assurance) is the responsibility of a separate team in the Faculty, the Faculty Education Services. The Centre supports the Faculty’s delivery of its education, primarily the financial management and staff resource. A background in education programme management is not required to be successful in this post.

The Centre Manager line manages the Centre’s Operations Manager who is responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of administrative operations for the Centre and who manages the wider operations team. The Centre Manager is responsible for the overall resourcing and long-term sustainability of the Centre, working with the Centre Director and the Deans of Education to identify future needs and how to respond to these. The Centre Manager will write business cases for academic, teaching and professional services staff and guide the Operations Manager in the recruitment and appointment to positions. This post will be offered on an indefinite contract.
