About the Role

An experienced administrator is required to assist with efficient day-to-day operations for the Centre for Primary Care. They would provide budgetary and secretarial support to the Centre Lead and Centre Manager and other members of centre staff. The postholder will be expected to have substantial experience in a similar administrative role. Applicants should have excellent organisational skills, experience of planning and progressing work activities, and experience of servicing a committee.

About You

Applicants must be educated to at least A-level or equivalent and should possess excellent IT skills. They should be able to work both independently and as part of a team. The post requires a person with a proven ability to use tact and discretion, whilst remaining calm and able to manage multiple deadlines.

The Wolfson Institute of Population Health is a world-class grouping of scientists and educators in applied health sciences. Our vision is to drive forward research within and across disciplines to generate the evidence to implement health system change, improve population health, and nurture social equity.   The Institute is organised into five separate research centres which, though complementary and following the Institute strategic plan, also have Centre-specific objectives and requirements.

The post is based at the Whitechapel Campus in London. It is full time, permanent appointment, with an expected start date of 1st September 2023. The starting salary will be Grade 3, in the range of £31,421 – £38,165 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
