
About the role: We are currently looking for an experienced and highly motivated, individual to join our Supply Chain team. As an Supply Planner you will be responsible for supporting the Pearson School business in ensuring Pearson global policies are followed and implemented across the supply chain, including segmentation, minimum and safety stock requirements and replenishment strategies executing the demand plan through planned order releasing requisitions and PO approval as required, through to receipt at our 3PL partners as well as managing warehouse assemblies and other stock related activities. You will be responsible for working with internal key stakeholders and external 3rd party suppliers and /printers, Co-ordinating with Logistics leads and supplies to manage orders to freight forwarder’s hubs, work with demand planners, commercial leads, product teams and production teams to align system attributes and replenishment strategies.
Our team: The Pearson Supply Chain team is a dynamic team servicing the Australia and NZ markets across Schools, Higher Ed, English Learning, and the Clinical business units. The team supports the supply of physical product across key business partners, managing the end-to-end supply chain for Pearson Australia delivering the world’s leading educational material to our end users
As a supply planner you’ll be responsible for:

Undertake current business workflows within the Oracle business suite of tools.

Create and release requisitions and Purchase Order based on replenishment strategies.

Submit requisitions & purchase orders to local and overseas suppliers.

Manage supply of orders through to receipt into local 3PL warehouse.

3PL Stock management: Work Orders, stickering, Pulping

Stock balances between Oracle and WMS
-
Resolve integration issues between Oracle and WMS.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

Experience in Supply Chain Management with minimum of 3 years supply chain planning.

Industry recognized/accredited Supply Chain training
-
Has worked with supply planning systems (Oracle, SAP)

Data gathering and quantitative and qualitative data analysis
-
Hands on experience with scenario planning to drive decision-making
