About the role: * We are currently looking for warm and engaging individuals to join our team. As a *Finance Assistant you will support the Workforce Skills APAC finance function, focusing primarily on client billings, project tracking and procurement support.

You will be responsible for delivering timely and accurate recording, generation, and reconciliation of data, together with adherence to internal accounting policies and processes.

As a Finance Assistant, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Processing global client invoicing for the region Workforce Skills including working with multi-currency transactions  

  • Using Pearson platforms for submission & review of corporate AMEX and DiviPay expenses, ensuring all appropriate approvals and documentation are in place

  • Manage account escalations, including supporting the business with supplier onboarding and requisitions

  • Support Finance BP with Oracle Projects, including project administration, reporting and reconciliation

  • Reconciliation of billing data across Pearson platforms including Talent Len, Salesforce, and Oracle

  • Verify accuracy of billing data, ensuring appropriate documentation and approvals are in place

*To be successful in this role, you will ideally have: *

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience gained in a similar finance role.

  • Salesforce CRM and/or Oracle experience is strongly preferred

  • Microsoft Office experience, including intermediate excel at minimum

  • Excellent written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills

  • Great attention to detail

  • A confident, organised, self-motivated team player
