Our team: Pearson Online Learning Services Australia (POLS) partners with leading Australian Universities and assists them to get and maintain students for online programs.

The Role: The Student Success Information team supply top quality assistance to trainees from initial enrolment and throughout their study journey, as they advance towards effective conclusion of their chosen program.

Focusing on the seamless shift for students starting from brand-new trainee onboarding, Student Success Information Advisor supplies in depth info to students about their program and the online learning experience, serve as a core contact point for all inbound queries in addition to quality and prompt actioning of administrative processes. With Retention and on-time graduation goals, Student Success Information Advisor works closely with the Student Success Progression team to guarantee trainees are making informed decision about their research studies.

To be effective in this function, you’ll preferably have:

  • Experience in high volume client service/customer resolution/student services following customer/student centric processes and assistance levels

  • Experience building relationships with customers/students and internal stakeholders, through outstanding communication abilities and efficiency with Microsoft Office and IT systems

  • Efficient team player who is eager to drive their own success and the success of the students

  • Capability to communicate and collaborate with people from a varied variety of cultural, educational, and expert backgrounds

  • Higher Education experience and/or understanding of the Australian education sector

  • Outstanding discussion skills and/or experience delivering to big audiences in an online environment e.g. webinars

  • Experience working in business or call centre environment
