About the role: We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated individual to join our high performing ELL stakeholder relations and sales team. As the PTE Global Stakeholder Relations Manager you will be responsible for managing Pearson Test of English stakeholder relations and driving English language teaching (ELT) resource sales in ANZ. You will be responsible for managing relationships with a broad range of stakeholders in the international education and migration sector, including but not limited to government, universities, peak bodies, education & migration agents, ELT colleges and service providers, to ensure confidence and protect the market leading position PTE has in ANZ. Internally you will work alongside PTE colleagues globally to drive activity between ANZ and sending markets, particularly those in Asia, India and China to align strategies and identify areas of collaboration.

Our team: Pearson’s English Language Learning (ELL) business in Australia is responsible for the promotion of the globally recognised Pearson Test of English (PTE) and print & digital English language learning resources. We aspire to help committed learners around the world reach their full potential through English language learning.

As the PTE Stakeholder Relations Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Proactively position Pearson and the PTE brand within the international education and migration industry

  • Effective stakeholder management with government, university and professional associations

  • Achieving revenue targets for the Pearson Test of English and English language teaching resource business in ANZ

  • Managing and identifying new commercial partnerships

  • Providing leadership to the ELL business unit in Australia

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining partnerships and key stakeholder relationships, preferably within the international education sector

  • Demonstrated success in a commercial environment

  • Experience working with high stakes examinations and/or background in language teaching and assessment

  • Excellent communication skills including presenting, negotiating and influencing
