The role: An 8 month maternity leave contract opportunity for a motivated individual to support the HR team with coordinating and prioritising workflow, proactively managing information and tasks to ensure the efficient and effective running of the business. The role reports to the HR Manager, Business Partnering, and assists with all facets of the HR business partnering function for Australia with various administrative and project tasks. The role also provides support to the VP of Legal and Finance/Country Manager with diary, travel and expense coordination.
What you will do:

Proactively manage administrative components of the Manager, HRBP/Legal Counsel and VP, Finance/Country Manager’s work.

Coordinate and administrate key people events on behalf of Pearson Australia.

Support corporate communications.

Office management/HR & OHS administrative support.
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:

Experience in an Administration/Human Resources environment and/or supporting senior managers.

Excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft packages.

Exceptional Attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong interpersonal communication skills.
