Our team: Virtual Learning – Pearson Online Learning Services Australia (POLS) partners with leading Australian Universities and assists them to acquire and retain students for online post graduate programs.

The role:

Reporting into the Head of Marketing & Acquisition, you will be accountable for the development, implementation, and maintenance of the content strategy across owned, earned, and paid channels for POLS Australia and our University partners.

We are looking for an individual that is experienced in leveraging market and consumer insights to focus both on long term strategic objectives and responding quickly to market conditions.

You will work closely with the Marketing team, responding to briefings and suggesting content solutions to achieve a project objective, considering resource constraints.

What you will do:

  • Develop a content strategy and manage its execution until final delivery.

  • Develop a framework for high quality content aligned with brand guidelines such as brochures, webinars, paid media, website and landing pages, comms, measuring impact and optimising based on insights and data.

  • Manage and work together with third party vendors including digital, creative, SEO and media agencies

  • Lead projects with multiple stakeholders such as academics, Marketing Managers, Senior Management, Technology, etc

To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:

  • 5+ years’ experience in initiating, planning and producing digital content Significant experience in digital marketing

  • Experience in managing 3rd party vendors such as creative agency, media agency, digital agency

  • Strong communications skills to able to communicate to different audiences in the business

  • Experience in digital content development (websites, landing page, digital advertising, SEO principles)

  • Experience in managing other people
