This is an exciting opportunity with two primary areas of responsibility: capacity planning and operations/data analysis. Capacity planning involves strategic event scheduling and management, creating and providing recommended scheduling strategies, posting operational schedules and providing training, documentation and auditing support for assigned test centres.
The Capacity Planning and Operations Analyst is also responsible to ensure that contractual obligations are achieved by monitoring testing schedules, hours of site availability and candidate volumes. For operations and data analysis, the Capacity Planning and Operations Analyst works closely with the Supervisor Capacity Planning and Operations Analyst to provide complex analysis of forecasts, reports and operations workflow and insights using model building, what-if analysis and other data analysis methodologies to support the development of innovative process improvements and efficiencies. The Capacity Planning and Operations Analyst must ensure high quality customer service and smooth scheduling and delivery of client programs and facilitate data analysis that will support the creation and implementation of innovative process improvements and efficiencies.
What you will do:

Monitor, review and adjust test centre schedules and blocks to meet various KPIs and client expectations and communicate necessary changes to the business.

Provide analysis and reporting to internal and external stakeholders based on forecasts, reports, financial and location data to support the operational business.

Assist with preparing test centre solutions and analysis for bid proposals as needed.

Develops recommendations to solve problems and issues related to business operations.

Participate in long and short-term scheduling, blocking and forecasting projects.
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:

Experience in data analysis and documentation/data reporting, specifically manipulating large amounts of information in Excel to extract data results and being able to execute existing queries as well as edit and write new queries in SQL.

Thorough knowledge and demonstrable understanding of the end-to-end capacity management and planning process with experience in assessments, test centre, education, airline, hotel, or similar industries with a capacity focus.

Strong attention to detail and organization skills, as well as an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to solve complex problems using strong analytical and decision-making skills, then using excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain the problem to the business.

Ability to work under pressure and within condensed timelines, well organized and detail oriented.
