The Business Development Manager’s job in APAC will be to secure a sustainable earnings stream for Pearson Clinical Assessment and ensure the continuous development of PCA’s existence within APAC Healthcare, Education and Corporate markets. Most of the work will remain in Asia where we have the greatest expectations for development. They will do that by developing and executing new opportunities in our region, structure and preserving strong service relationships with customers and the organizations they work for in this region, developing trust and ensuring consumer success.
What you will do:

Account Management & & Customer Service

Sales Consulting & & Business Development Activities

Meet revenue targets and grow customer base in A&NZ and Asia

Research possibility and market trends

Establish and execute a sales technique that aligns with regional plans for growth

Ensure there is a strong pipeline of service to be able to meet revenue targets

Proactively establish relationships with new clients to produce sales and training chances
-
Prepare and provide item presentations
-
Write service proposals, react to tender demands, challenge the market with ingenious ideas

Follow the latest market developments, maintain strong relationship with crucial opinion leaders and market bodies, and stay up to date on corporate rivals

Participate in conferences and promote Pearson Assessment items

This role will need travel to Asia and around Australia/NZ once it is safe and practical
To be successful in this role, you’ll ideally have:

Business, marketing or associated qualifications
-
Demonstrated success in a service development function

Scientific Product, marketing and method experience desirable

Strong interpersonal and communication abilities that allow the private to work across teams and locations

Capability to speak an Asian language is extremely desirable– we work closely with partners in Japan, South Korea and China
