To be effective in innovation implementation, research and company development is required. Therefore, we have established a research group concentrating on sustainable organization modelling and planning according to the intro of freshly established innovations. As group lead of the research group Business Development, you will be at the leading edge of this advancement– and you will contribute with research, market partnership and education to a sustainable advancement of the industry.
The research group consists of 5 professor, who have dealt with Business Development in academic community and practice for numerous years. As an organizational system the research group is young and is anticipated to grow within the next years by addition of Postdocs and PhD students. As head of the research study group, you will lead the research program and method of the group. Together with the leadership group of the department, you will construct the research profile of the department.
Duties and credentials
Through research study, mentor and guidance your system will add to DTU’s strategic goal towards being Europe’s finest Engineering education. The research study group provide courses and guideline into a number of DTU’s Bachelor in Engineering (BEng) Programmes in addition to a range of continuing education formats, including Diploma Programmes. You will deal with neighboring coworkers in the research study group, in the management group, and with both academic and commercial partners in Denmark in addition to abroad. University-industry collaboration will characterize your teaching and research study, why we value useful and theoretical experience.
Your main jobs will be to:
- Teach and supervise BEng and BSc student tasks, and be co-supervisor for PhD students.
- Engagement in industry-university partnership
- Establishing and leading the research group
- Course responsible for courses within funding, financial investment, marketing, company and strategy.
You need to be responsible for the mentor naturally. The teaching language of the department is Danish. Coming from abroad you will be anticipated to find out Danish and have the ability to teach in Danish after 3 years. DTU can provide Danish language courses.
As formal certification you need to hold a PhD degree (or comparable) along with academic credentials comparable to those obtained by holding an assistant professorship and documented didactic/pedagogic training.
