
UCL’s Arts and Sciences department is delighted to be launching a new BA in Creative Arts and Humanities (https://www.ucl.ac.uk/arts-sciences/study/undergraduate-study/ba-creative-arts-and-humanities) from September 2023, which will be based at the new UCL East campus in Stratford. We are seeking an Associate Professor in Creative Arts and Humanities with a specialism in film and moving image studies.
The postholder will be required to use their specialism in film and moving image studies to undertake teaching and research into creative arts and humanities. This post is a foundation post for the new BA degree so will play a key part in the programme and in developing the curriculum.
The postholder must be educated to Doctoral level in any area relevant to interdisciplinary creative arts and humanities and have a specialism in moving image or film studies.
They must also have proven experience in research in this field, as well as curriculum development in this area. Experience of supervising doctoral students is also essential.
It is desirable but not essential for the postholder to have experience in performance studies and/or in practical skills of making films and moving images.
