
Coordinate, develop and deliver high quality data science and statistics teaching and further expand the teaching activities that are part of the Rigorous Training in Longitudinal Data Science (RADIANCE) recently awarded by UKRI Innovation Scholars: Data Science Training in Health and Bioscience. The post holder will have the opportunity to conduct research, but teaching is the main priority of this new post.
This post is funded for 16 months in the first instance.
– To contribute to the preparation of online course materials for statistics modules.
– To deliver teaching for courses in statistics and data science (either in person or online, as required).
– To contribute to planning and designing new statistics and data science courses.
– To assist with updating and development of web-based materials and resources.
– To provide individual consultations to students attending statistic courses.
– To assist with course organisation, including timetabling and liaising with other tutors on these courses
– To carry out administrative duties as required to smoothly run the project
– Carry out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, the title and grading of the post as requested by the Department
