We are seeking to appoint a Practice Learning Fellow (Social Work) Associate Lecturer, who will be part of the Social Work academic group.
The successful candidate will have experience and interest in practice learning and tutoring students whilst on placement and will contribute to skills teaching including in relation to ‘readiness for direct practice’ and communication skills for practice. You may be working in practice and considering experiencing an academic role or be an emerging academic. You will join a friendly and experienced team and will be supported to develop your teaching practice skills. You will have a background in UK social work and currently be in practice.
Applicants are required to be registered with Social Work England and have academic qualifications at undergraduate or postgraduate master’s level; if at undergraduate level, must demonstrate a willingness to engage in further study.
Applicants should be able to work collaboratively and have the ability to deliver high quality practice learning, teaching and facilitation of learning within a university environment.
An enhanced DBS check will be required for this post.
