Project Management Programme Team as an Associate Lecturer.
If you are looking to complement your existing job, work on a more flexible basis or build upon your existing commitments with a new challenge, we could be exactly what you are looking for. We are looking for exceptional individuals to teach, assess and support learning of Postgraduate students in the field of Project Management. In addition, there are opportunities to supervise students’ research projects.
We would like to hear from experts who can provide lectures, seminars, research supervision and possibly module leadership in the following areas:
- Research Methods
- Operations Management
- Engineering Operations Functions and its key managing components
- Business Processes
- KPI based performance management of Project.
- Concepts, Processes, tools & techniques of Quality Control in Projects
- System Thinking, Modelling (IDEF0) and Analysis of Projects
- International Project Management (context including Commercial, NGO, Regeneration, Int’l Relief projects)
- Design study where an artefact, process or system is designed against a theoretical design specification.
- Emerging technologies that impact Project (e.g., AI, Blockchain, IoT, 4.0, etc.)
- Experience in the application of MS Project
You need to have experience of working in Higher Education, subject related post graduate qualification and/or a broad range of experience in Project Management or Engineering Management. You also need to have experience of supervising students’ research projects and a teaching qualification/HEA fellowship would be advantageous. We are also keen to hear from individuals with professional qualifications/memberships relevant to the abovementioned subject areas.
The ability to relate your teaching to a practical setting via exceptional communication and presentation skills is required. In addition, you will have significant experience of online and face to face teaching within the Higher Education Sector and experience of using apps / platforms alongside practical or classroom-based learning.
