The post holder will be a member of the expert services group and will offer effective and professional administrative assistance to the Senior Education Administrator (PGR) and Departmental tutors with support for all aspects of education activities. This post will help in achieving a high quality and prompt service to current and prospective trainees, and staff associating with the designated courses/programmes and beyond.
The post holder should be efficient, organised and take terrific care in attention to detail. In addition, the role needs interaction with lots of people within and external to UCL, thus an expert attitude, determination to help and a positive outlook are needed to sufficiently execute the tasks lay out. The appointment is moneyed by the department and is an open-ended function.
The effective prospect will have experience in an administrative role in a busy workplace environment. They will be computer literate, have excellent verbal and written interaction abilities in English (including precise grammar, spelling and punctuation), be able to work under pressure and handle high volumes of processing, and want and able to find out and utilize brand-new systems quickly, consisting of UCL specific systems such as Portico.
