Job Summary

We are looking for an Engagement and Events Coordinator to join our team and provide support for the design and delivery of the events and alumni engagement programmes, and wider programmes and activities within the Alumni Relations Office.

Based at the South Kensington campus, you will support the delivery on and off-site in person and online events, overseeing logistical and practical arrangements and ensuring consistently high standards. You will report to the Senior Alumni Events Officer, and also work closely with the Alumni Engagement Officer and the Alumni Volunteer Officer, as well as relevant internal stakeholders at the College.

Duties and responsibilities

You will have proven experience of supporting a variety of events, of managing their own workload effectively and of responding collaboratively and flexibly to opportunities and challenges as they arise. Project management, strong attention to detail, organisational, problem-solving and community engagement skills are vital for this role, as is a strong customer focus. Prior experience of alumni relations and volunteer management is highly desirable.

For the right candidate, this role presents an excellent opportunity to develop event management and alumni engagement skills in an important and fast-growing area of Imperial College London.
