Job Summary
This is a great opportunity for you to be the first point of contact for visitors to our prestigious Film School. You will deal with all general enquiries, whether face-to-face in the busy reception, via phone or email and will operate the School’s multiline switchboard. You will also provide administrative support to the Facilities Management, Human Resources and Student Registry departments, act as a secondary building key-holder to the Facilities Manager and also a Fire Marshall, in the event of a building evacuation being necessary.
As a confident communicator, you will be comfortable working with academic and professional services staff, students and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate for this interesting and varied role will be educated to A level standard or equivalent, have excellent administrative and communication skills, together with experience working on reception in a customer facing post. The ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment, plus experience using Microsoft 365 and excellent MS Office skills are essential. Experience of working in a similar role within the arts and/or higher education will be an advantage.
