About the Role

Applications are sought for an Administrative Officer to provide administrative, financial, HR and secretarial support to the Director’s Office Management in their execution of Institute-related tasks, and assisting in the planning and organisation of the Director’s Office activities. The post holder will be part of the Institute’s administrative and secretarial team being mutually supportive and covering duties as necessary during the Office Manager’s absences and at times of additional pressure, as directed. The post holder will be expected to take lead in setting up, developing and taking projects through to successful completion as required.

About You

We are looking for a motivated, organised, and professional individual with secretarial/administrative experience, as well as the ability to prioritise a varied workload and meet deadlines. GCSE’s and A-Levels (grades A-C), or equivalent is essential. Experience of working in higher education or NHS would be an advantage. A demonstrated ability to communicate well, work within a team and experience of account adminstration are also essential.

The post is based at the Charterhouse Square Campus in London. It is full time (35 hours per week), permanent appointment. The starting salary will be Grade 3, in the range of £28,208 – £34,733 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
