Birkbeck Students’ Union are looking for a new Activities and Events Manager who will develop a programme of extra-curricular events designed to meet the needs and interests of Birkbeck students, and improve the overall student experience.
We are looking for someone can ‘bring the fun’ and work towards one of our main strategic objectives, enhancing our students’ social experience. This person will also lead on all administration, support and training for all student groups, as well as overseeing that proper financial processes, policy documentation and necessary governance is executed – ensuring an excellent experience for volunteers and participants as well as excellent events, high standards of health and safety, and accessible activities for all students.
This opportunity would build on experience as: Events Coordinator, Activities Coordinator, Sports Coordinator.
This role is offered on an open-ended basis.
This is a full-time, working 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday 10am-6pm with a combination of working from home and in-office.

Grade 5 of the College’s London Pay Scale which is £32,962 rising to £37,143 per annum.
